I have been playing a mix of weddings, cocktails, and funersals since the founding of WilliamVZ Music in 2021. At Calvin University, I studied piano with Dr. Hyesook Kim and composition with Dr. Forrest Wakeman; both have influenced how I approach music. My musicianship stems from a composer’s mindset and I enjoy arranging existing songs into different genres. Some of my favorite genres include film soundtracks, musicals, classical, and R&B.

As a musician, I am available to play as a solo pianist/keyboardist for an event as well as collaborating with other musicians (violinists, guitarists, bands, vocalists, etc…) The more the merrier!

I am available to play at a variety of venues (i.e. barn, winery, indoor, outdoor) and genres (i.e. pop, classical, old timey, sacred, jazz, soul, R&B, film/videogame music, etc…). Should the venue not have a piano, I come with a full-size, portable 88-key Roland Keyboard and Amplifier that I am able to transport anywhere. I am open to traveling across the state of Michigan but primarily reside in West Michigan.
